Message Hi guys and gals,
Well, it's getting to be in the 40's in West Michigan and the snow is almost gone, so I hauled the Z out this weekend. Finally! Now I've got some questions on it.

Here is a link to a post from last year introducing the car: [ http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2409020/New-Guy-Introduction.html ]

I forgot to mention it has a Borla cat-back exhaust in the post.

1. Where should I go from here as far as mods? I realize that as an N/A, not much else can be done as far as performance. It could have some stuff not listed in my other post, but I can't be sure. Maybe I should just leave it as-is and enjoy it?

2. Behind the passenger seat, there is a small velcro panel and behind it there is some sort of metal cage with a wire coiled inside it. It appears stock. What the heck is it?

3. I have a Stillen GTZ-R front fascia that has some cracks and chips on the leading edge. From my research, I think this is a urethane bumper. Any recommendations on good products/methods to fix it?

4. I have a nice double-DIN Pioneer touch screen radio picked out. Briefly, how hard is it to install a double-DIN radio in the 300ZX? Is there a place I can buy fillers for the area after I take out the single-DIN radio and Bose speaker below it?

5. Obviously the Z is a sports car, and I'm used to driving a 1999 Infiniti I30 (another GREAT Nissan product). To me, it seems the Z revs quite a bit higher than the I30. I can usually get up to speed in the I30 at an average pace while under 2K RPMs. In the Z, I find it hard to keep it under 3K sometimes. Just for a comparison, what RPMs are you guys pushing as various speeds?

I'm sure I'll think of some more questions, but in the meantime, thanks a ton guys!
